Convent Rules Peace of Christ, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. As you plan your retreat at our convent, we kindly request that you follow these guidelines to ensure a peaceful and respectful environment for all. Donations: * The Convent requires donations from individuals or groups for all overnight stays cheques payable to the convent (“CMGP” or “St. Mary, St George & St. Philopateer Convent”), e-transfer (transferconvent@gmail.com) or through cash. Tax Receipts are provided. Retreat Guidelines: * Our retreats are exclusively for women and girls. * Please register your group at least 15 days in advance for overnight stays, and 7 days in advance for day visits. Dress Code: * We encourage modest attire, with minimal makeup and no shorts. * Dresses and skirts MUST be knee-length or longer. Items to Bring: * Bible, notebook, pen, and pencil. * Two pillow covers. * Twin size bed sheet or single bed sheet. * Indoor shoes. * Personal items. During Your Stay: * Please maintain the cleanliness of the rooms, dining hall, kitchen, washrooms, and all areas of the convent as you found them. * Follow the cleaning instructions provided before your departure. * Respect the quiet, monastic atmosphere of the convent. * Groups are responsible for their own meals and food. * Photography and videography are prohibited inside the sanctuary and near the nuns. Prayer Schedule: * 4AM (daily): Midnight Praises * Vespers Prayer (Agpeya) at 5 pm, followed by vespers praises on Saturdays. * Divine Liturgy on Saturdays from 9 am to 11:30 am. * Approximately 3 hours of convent work for overnight retreats.
